Three impressive improvements made to the 2023 Lexus UX 250h

The new 2023 Lexus UX 250h Was introduced back in May and brought along with it a wide range of improvements.  Some of those improvements are quite impressive and we will get into that in a second. Before that, however, a quick look at what hasn't changed on the new Lexus ux.

The entry-level Lexus sport utility vehicle will continue to offer a standard Hybrid engine. This hybrid engine isn't just quick and powerful with its combined 181 horsepower, it is also very efficient with an average fuel consumption rating of under 6 L per 100 km in the city. It also provides over 400 L of cargo space in the back and it is a great option for buyers who want a vehicle that is both efficient and luxurious, and that is also perfectly sized for the city.

The 2023 Lexus UX 250h also gets quite a few improvements this year that make it even more appealing. Let’s take a closer look at three that stand out.

New infotainment system

At the heart of the new Lexus UX 250h is the redesigned infotainment system housed in a standard 8-inch screen or an optional 12.3-inch centre display. The system has a high-definition screen and a quicker operating system for seamless interactions. There’s also an anti-glare system that makes it easier to use, just like a cellphone. Speaking of a cellphone, this impressive new system also offers enhanced navigation technology with up-to-date points-of-interest and navigation data. You can also reach out and get some help if needed thanks to Destination Assist and 24/7 live agent support.

The most impressive feature of this new infotainment system, however, is the redesigned voice command system. By saying “Hey Lexus”, you are connected to the system and you can then adjust various settings and parameters quickly and easily using natural voice commands.

New trims

The new 2023 Lexus UX gets new Elegance Special Edition and F SPORT Design models that provide unique enhancements.

The Elegance Special model gets a refined and distinct interior featuring a unique acorn interior design with exclusive steering wheel with grey stitching. The seats are covered in mauve trim with black accents.

The F SPORT Design model builds on the Premium trim and adds F SPORT styling elements such as 18-inch wheels, mesh grille, unique front and rear bumper, and distinct wheel arches. In other words, it provides the F SPORT look in a more accessible package.

Improved vehicle dynamics

Lastly, Lexus engineers improved the Lexus UX 250h’s driving performance, specifically in terms of steering response, handling stability, and ride quality and smoothness. The new UX 250h is more rigid thanks to 20 spot welding points added to the body, and the suspension has been re-calibrated. The steering has also been improved for a more direct, agile overall demeanor.
