Lexus electrified vehicle sales up 26.5% in 2021

Lexus has an extensive lineup of fully hybrid vehicles, more hybrid vehicles as a matter of fact than just about any other luxury automaker. The vast number of hybrid options in the Lexus lineup paired with Lexus’ reputation for quality, dependability, and impressive luxury allowed Lexus to once again set the standard when it comes to electrified luxury vehicle sales.

Lexus sold 6,574 electrified vehicles last year, an increase of 26.5% compared to 2020. The Lexus lineup which includes the Lexus UX Hybrid and the Lexus RX Hybrid will be adding a few more options in 2022 including the arrival of the all-new Lexus NX plug-in hybrid version. This should allow Lexus to continue its electrified vehicle success this year.

The Lexus UX Hybrid had a great year last year, with 3,282 units sold, an increase of 32%. The popular Lexus RX Hybrid also had a great year with 1805 units sold, an increase of 63.1%.

Lexus offers multiple hybrid vehicle options to its consumers including the Lexus ES and LS hybrid sedans, the Lexus UX and Lexus RX, and the new generation of the all-new Lexus NX.
